The context
Simple Swaps was Big Byte Studios’ second mobile release of 2023. Shipping two titles in one year from a two-founder studio means the production pipeline repeated.
What I owned
- Release management. Ran the project to launch and handled iOS and Android store submission.
- A repeatable pipeline. With release processes coached out to my co-founder on the first title, the second shipped more smoothly. That is what building team capability buys.
- Contractor direction. Directed external art and sound talent through delivery.
Outcomes
- Shipped to iOS and Android in 2023
- Owned the full release cycle and store submission on both platforms
- Second title shipped in the same year, proof the studio's pipeline repeated
